About me
I have been working in fashion production and marketing for more than 10 years. Over the ultimate 2 years I´ve been working at Van Peterson, as the main Jewellery producer next to Mr Van Peterson. I have developed there the last 3 collections, searched of trends, new materials and new suppliers. I also take care of development of the production, sending the samples over to the factory, arranging the timetable with the suppliers and the delivery of the hole production to our base in London. Before I worked in Marketing for a fashion women´s wear brand. I took care of the hole image of the brand. The setting and decoration of the retail shops. I regularly organised photoshots for the campaign, lookbooks and editorial pictures for the social media. We also organised the event, set up the fashion runways or presentations of the new collection. I took care of the branding, for example new logo ideas, design of the packaging and tags, street adverts, magazine adverts, retails shop branding, outside and inside the shop, ect. I feel I suit perfectly with the job description, I have done and worked with all the type of jobs that you are describing.     JEWELLERY DESIGNER / PRODUCER: • Research of new trends, products, materials, gem stones. • Jewellery portfolio: Develop a photoshop portfolio of the collections, with new products, on-going jewellery projects, and future catalogs. • Responsible for scheduling the timetable of the production, arranging orders and follow up to reach the deadlines. Chasing product deliveries and quality control. • Responsible for range buying stock across all departments of the Jewellery brand. Annual budget £ 48.000 • Knowledge of competitor activity, commercial markets and trends. • Products: Controlling stock, making orders and arranging new products. • Initiating changes to improve the business e.g. revising cost, suppliers, goldsmiths, retails selling come back, new wholesale clients. Attend weekly supplier meetings and implement a buy strategy for each season. Attend trade fairs and maintain supplier relations to ensure strong brand partnerships. • Wholesale clients: Creating a portfolio with new designs for our wholesale clients. Send samples. I develop the new collection in a photoshop portfolio for each season, to be presented to the Debenhams buying team. Sundance Catalog: Design products to be presented in a photoshop catalog, to be sent monthly. TJMaxx: Organice a catalog to be showed to the buying team. Liaise with the orders. M & M Management: PR company, select jewellery for photo and video shootings, celebrities and events.
