I am a 30 year old music obsessive currently working as a DJ and music consultant/licensor for various record labels including Mr Bongo, BBE and more. I was also the music programmer for London audiophile bars Spiritland for nearly four years.

- Licensing for Luke Una's "Everything Above The Sky" Compilation - RE:Warm RecordsIn the spring of 2024, I started work on licensing a selection of the tracks for Luke Una's next compilation "Everything Above The Sky" on RE:Warm Records. They requested my help on the harder to get licenses and I was happy to work with Luke again. I licensed 2 tracks for the LP: Sylvain Kassap - Plancoët Otis G. Johnson - I Got It
- HAZE "Jazz Carnival" - PANORAMA Records for Prime Direct DistributionThe fourth release on PANORAMA Records is the reissue of HAZE and their version of Azymuth's Jazz Funk masterpiece "Jazz Carnival" I curated the release, and then designed the sleeve for the record, which was amended from the original release to fit a 7inch. I also got in touch with the original band members to make a unique marketing strategy around release. Including contacting the local newspaper for an interview.
- Licensing for Mr Bongo's Record Club volume 7 - Mr Bongo RecordsIn the spring of 2024, I started work on licensing a selection of the tracks for the latest installment of the Mr Bongo Record Club, in my eyes one of the best compilation series today. I licensed 6 tracks for the Compilation, including one I selected, Chain Reaction. - Sound Triangle Reissues on Mr Bongo Records - Ray and His Court "Ray and His Court"In late 2023 I worked alongside Mr Bongo Records to license the rights to a collection of LPs from Groove Merchant Records. This series did so well I decided to go deeper and pitch another series in 2024 on the legendary Sound Triangle Records. Latin funk at its finest. A kingpin player of Miami’s Cuban music scene, Ray Fernandez, brought together his ‘court’ for this sensational Afro-Cuban funk triumph. - Glenda McLeod "No Stranger To Love" - Celestial Echo Records for Prime Direct DistributionThe third release on Celestial Echo Preservation Group is the reissue of Glenda McLeod's funky boogie soul track "No Stranger To Love". I found the artist and licensed it with the rightsholder after my label partner Stu found the track. Then designed the sleeve for the record, which the original release didn't come with.
- Fruko Y Sus Tesos "Salsa Na Ma/El Preso" - PANORAMA Records for Prime Direct DistributionThe third release on PANORAMA Records is the reissue of Colombian Salsa kings Fruko Y Sus Tesos & their dancefloor weapons "Salsa Na Ma" & "El Preso" I curated the release, and then designed the sleeve for the record, which was amended from the original release due to the tracks coming from 2 different albums. I designed a "vintage" looking company sleeve with a "Discos Panorama" hand stamp to make it look like it was found after years of sitting in a Bogota record store.

I am the curator of “With Love”, my new 16-track compilation of “music with soul from across the world”, and the first in a series I am curating for Mr Bongo Records. Determined to do it right, I spend the time tracking down the artists whose music I fell in love with, building the kind of personal relationships that define all the best reissue projects and making sure the artists are getting paid a proper advance and royalty.
Released in September 2022, volume one of “With Love” was named compilation of the week by Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music, and received further BBC radio support from Jamie Cullum, Craig Charles and Cerys Matthews, as well as a host of iconic DJs including Jeremy Underground and Antal.
