I am a creative and young designer, passionate about crafts and how they can contribute to the world of design. Becoming aware of craft’s shifts with the advent of technology and of globalisation I am trying to position craft at the forefront of my projects that strive to bring new innovative design to the future.
Intrigue and curiosity are two elements that describe my work, approaching human centred design with sustainability in mind. Combining craft and creative ideas allows the creation of innovative projects. Eager to learn the continuous shift of crafts within the current world of technology, I am always fond of experimenting new paths for my projects. I am interested in collaborating across projects that give input in solving and challenging existing social and environmental issues.
Projects
- AssaporandoAssaporando, is a project that explores multi-sensory stimuli in eating experiences, manipulating the five senses to achieve enhanced dining. Sensation transference is what links our senses with flavor and allows for multi-sensoriality to induce new experiences by the diner. Shape, color, texture, noise and weight are elements that if combined, change the way in which we perceive flavor. When the five senses are shifted and controlled while eating, the diner’s perceptions of flavor are changed.
