Hi, Im Millie, a lens based artist specialising in photography and moving image, based in London.
My interests lie in creating striking cinematic work which challenges contemporary issues, mainly around female identity. Taking huge inspiration from the world of the big screen, cinematic references and techniques help bring complex stories to life.
Experience working on film sets and productions, in the studio and on location.
Additional experience with set design, costume, hair and make up.

The pressure of trying to become a perfect wife and mother can cause and bring up a great amount of trauma leading to a loss of identity, crippling mental health issues and a low sense of self. "Bluebird’ is a short film that was inspired by my own personal struggles and my relationships with those closest to me. This film is not necessarily about heartbreak but about the solidarity, support and love found in friendships - and to show true love can also reside there."
