Projects
- Beautiful TransformationsThis project combines both tradition with new technologies, and transforms the duo beautifully. This project is based around the concept of transformation, creating a marked change. I took remainders of a previous project which I enjoyed thoroughly and have now elevated it to this. Featuring the use of fabric manipulation, digital embroidery, beadwork and print, there is a range of scale, style and texture through this collection.
- The Beauty of Caged FreedomThis project portrays the constrasting themes of beauty versus feeling trapped or caged, where women in society still to this day face numerous takes of oppression. Inspired by Hitchcock's The Birds, this collection aims to prove how together a force is stronger than singularly. With an aspiration to uplift, transform and bring power to women, the garment and sample collection feature a range of mixed media textile techniques, also combined with both digital and screen print techniques.
