  • Muscle & Tussle Circus Museum
Muscle & Tussle Circus MuseumMuscle & Tussle Circus Museum is a visual identity project based on an ISTD competition brief where designers were asked to create and design an identity for a circus museum to a target audience of own choice. This museum is about portraying a stereotypical ‘Strongman’ from the past. The concept revolves around the elements of being a strongman, dividing the content into 4 graphic areas: moustache, muscle, costume and weights. It is a concept particularly aimed for children and families, with a
  • Facebook Data Visualised
Facebook Data VisualisedMy final project was about whether data visualisation could bring out a story hidden in the raw data of personal Facebook data archives. These are some of the visual experiments conducted on one of my research participants' Facebook Wall data in 2012, detecting patterns and trends – in terms of Facebook actvities – using colours and data blocks, which ultimately revealed that the participant was suffering from insomnia.
  • Sushi'd
Sushi'dSushi'd is a on-demand food service, providing customers a range of freshly made, locally produced sushi and a fun-loving, bicycle delivery service. The company operates though a mobile application where the customer make their sushi orders. The client wanted a youthful, energetic, healthy and sensual brand making the company look and feel contemporary and unconventional. What was requested from this brief was a company name, brand marquee, a tagline and a website promoting and linking to their operating mobile application.
  • Facebook Stories 2012
Facebook Stories 2012Facebook Stories was a visual experiment based on a friend's Facebook Status Updates in 2012. Similar to the concept of a story book, where every sequence of a story is depicted with an illustration, I decided to apply the same approach in visualising Facebook data in this experiment using various sources. As there were 66 status updates generated that year, 66 visual representations were created – some of which were illustrations and some imagery – forming an interactive platform where every single status update is a visual story.
  • Illustration for Madebrave Glasgow
Illustration for Madebrave GlasgowDuring my internship at Madebrave in 2012, I was asked to re-visualise their company logo in a creative way that would communicate the studio's personality. These are the illustrations I created for the brief.
  • EXBERLINER
EXBERLINERExberliner is a monthly magazine published in Berlin, an ultimate city guide for english-speaking folk. The magazine features guides for eating, shopping, culture and special events, as well as articles following a monthly theme. I had the opportunity to work as a design intern for Exberliner for three months with a hands on approach. I created adverts for print and the website, flyers, forms, maps, layouts for magazine spreads, illustrations among other things. I was also allowed to illustrate the cover illustration for the September issue in 2012.
