  • Building London page from scratch
Building London page from scratchA part of my job role with Rawkus was building up the social media pages for each city. Due to launching in London during my time there we had to build the London page from nothing and get it active enough to pull in a crowd on the launch night. As the company itself is northern based and known launching in both the south and the countries capital successfully was a big undertaking. We incorporated a lot of SEO in our posts, hashtags which linked to our sponsors as well as the use of comment/shares for rewards The result was a successful launch night. A growing page but also a lot less reliance on paying for reach as I was much more focused on organic reach To give a more natural feel to it as well as a focused "buzz" without that sponsored tag all over it.
