About me
I am a student on my last year of BA (Hons) Artist, Designer: Maker at Cardiff Metropolitan University. During my time I have explored different techniques to create conceptual art. For my degree show I have taken a path to become more functional in my work creation after finding a keen interested in the process of ceramics, in particular- mould making and slip casting. For my degree show I am embarking on creating a series of Tapas-ware out of slip cast terracotta and concrete. The forms are inspired by ergonomics contrasted by brutalist architecture. Alongside my degree I am currently working towards an MTA qualification in web design- another passion of mine being coding.
Projects

In Western Society we dictate the chaise to be an upper class feminine piece- a societal stamp. Using Sheep's wool and chicken wire to create the chaise, I played with blurring these assumptions of form as well as creating questions of function and comfort. Does it belong to the bourgeoisie? Or to the proletariat? And which class acts
