- Gast Eyewear Campaign SS21The latest release for independent Italian eyewear brand 'Gast' was styled by myself and Veronique Jacobs and 'Shot by Curls' in Barcelona. We worked with Brazilian make-up artist/model Melissa Morena and decided to cast models Lara Dias Dos Santos and Gabriel Famokunwa who are both young Catalans with roots in Angola and Nigeria. The campaign featured vintage pieces and footwear from Brazilian designer Ocksa.
- 'Young in America' Editorial Cap74024We shot this editorial for Cap74024 to present alternative depictions of gender. Shot by Austn Fischer, we wanted to explore masculinity and femininity in duality, in an environment that typically has rigid and defined gender roles. The make-up was done by Sunao Takahashi, the set design by Lily Soede and hair by Nicola Harrowell.
- 'Pinhal' Editorial Kaltblut MagazineShot in Marisol, Portugal, our editorial ‘Pinhal’, named after the pine forests, features designs exclusively from Alexandra Moura's new collection. We used our beautiful model Nadja Barbosa because we wanted to showcase a new perspective/more accurate representation of Portuguese fashion. With Cape Verde and Guinée-Buissau being two large ex colonies of Portugal, we felt it was really important for the model to reflect that. - Between FormsThe series "Between Forms“ showcases Hannah Sosnas AW20 Collection 'The Colour of Time’ which won the M&S Wool Week competition. The outfits sit within contemporary masculinity while drawing references from the birth of colour television and the introduction of test cards. The bold and colourful geometric prints give a sense of anarchy and modernity to a classic cut. By staging the models Conor and William in a sensual, modern intimacy this juxtaposition is mirrored.
