  • Fun with faces challenge
Fun with faces challengeI recently took part in designer, Charly Clemments', challenge Fun with faces. This challenge required following 3 word prompts to create a design every day. I was inspired by powerful women characters.
  • Poster designs
Poster designsI have been really enjoying doing poster designs. This has ranged from gig posters and decorative to events. I like using colour and humour in the posters, showing lots of personality.
  • Design- a- day
Design- a- dayI challenged myself to create a new design every day based off a list of things that I would like to have in my portfolio. I wanted to create outcomes that I would be able to send to a studio or company to apply for jobs. I also wanted to practice working quickly to a brief the way that I would be in industry.
  • Books and Beans coffee shop rebrand
Books and Beans coffee shop rebrandThis was the main project of my Honours year portfolio. I rebranded a local coffee shop using the iconic seagull that Aberdeen is known for as my main branding element. I wanted it to look quirky, fun and full of character reflecting the personality of the business.
  • Secret 7"
Secret 7"These were my entries for this year's Secret 7 brief. The brief gave seven tracks which we then had to create album artwork for without showing the name of the song or the track artist. It was interesting interpreting music into a visual format.
  • Infographic
InfographicAs part of my Honors year project, my tutor asked the class to create infographics based around our chosen themes. I did research on the food industry. It was my first time creating an infographic but I liked the challenge and finding ways to turn data into something visual and fun.
