Projects
- The Life we livedA play written by 'Hrisi Kostova' and directed by me. This play is about the three generations of women and the different issues they experience. It holds a powerful message about culture in Bulgaria and family relations. The play was performed twice at the New Wimbledon Theatre. It won the award for the 'best production' in the BRIT school's Snowglobes award ceremony.
- 'The Preserves' - short filmI created my own psychological-thriller short film called 'The Preserves' for my film AS coursework and received an A! It was also nominated for an award at the Ritzy Picturehouse in Brixton. For this, I had to: write my own script, film, direct, cast actors and edit the entire film. I collaborated with actors from my theatre strand at the BRIT school.
- Titus Andronicus - Shakespeare Production (2024)I performed the role of 'Titus' in the BRIT school's adaption of the play, 'Titus Andronicus', which was directed by Joey Parsad. We were an all-female cast and were given the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience twice on an outdoor stage. Our company's concept of the play was about women in the business industry and how our patriarchal society limits women's opportunities and forces us into competition against one another. Facilitating and creating theatreBensham Manor School

I’m working in a group of students (at the BRIT school) for our community project.
As a team, we go to Bensham Manor SEN school every week to facilitate activities and work towards a 5 minute piece of theatre with the participants. The role involves 1-1 conversations with students and also taking lead of workshops for the entire class.

Work Experience at the Almedia TheatreAlmeida Theatre

The BRIT school provided us with the opportunity to participate in work experience for a week at the Almeida Theatre.
This involved a series of workshops and resulted in us working in groups to create and pitch an idea for a ‘for-free’ related to their recent Shakespearean production of ‘King Lear’ to a panel at the Almeida theatre.
