- London, United KingdomPart Time
I am actively involved with Central Southwark Community Hub - a local charity focused on tackling food poverty and helping people from the local communities in South East London, with no recourse to public funds. I have approached the organisation to offer my filmmaking skills and volunteer with the organisation. Couple of months later I was running a team of 35 volunteers during the hight of the pandemic, which entailed organising the rota for 4 different centres, doing the induction, organising food delivery schedules and making sure the organisation was able to meet the 10 fold increase in demand for their services. I have also used my skills to run a filming project which results in a fundraising video to raise money for the peer to peer project, which gives women from the community an access to learn new skills and feel less isolated.

By the end of the course I have produced a short documented and I've also worked as director of photography on another short documentary.
