- Letters of NotWorking with creative duo We are Laura, we were briefed by The Friday Project and author Dale Shaw to design and art direct a book of made-up letters by famous historical figures. The brief asked that we include photographs and scans of the 'original' letters, which had never really existed. This made the project a learning process, of fabricating illustrated letters with varying styles of hand drawn type, to best reflect the style, age and characteristics of the individual figures.
- Equilibrium Tide TheoryThe concept of this project was to visualise lunar gravity, and explores Isaac Newton's law of universal gravitation, which explains how the gravitational attraction between two bodies (Moon / Earth) is directly proportional to their masses. I have made a series of informative infographic images, some of which are interactive, and a three-dimensional layered piece in which different coloured prints represent the vastly different spectrum of the moons gravitational field.
