About me
I'm an arts industry professional with experience across arts marketing, film programming and event operations, and passions for film and feminism. Since graduating from a Masters of Arts and Cultural Management from the University of Melbourne in December 2015 I have established myself as an industry all-rounder with roles at a range of small, medium and large-sized arts organisations including MIFF, AFI | AACTA, The School of Life and Environmental Film Festival. In October 2016 I took on a co-director position with Girls on Film Festival, a 3-day film festival based in Melbourne's inner north and inspired by Riot Grrl feminist culture. This role has allowed me to explore my dual passions of arts and feminism by promoting female creation and representation across not just film, but music, games, arts and crafts. Working with my incredible co-directors I helped to lead a team of more than 20 volunteers to produce a successful 2017 festival. Most recently I have relocated to London to seek out new challenges in the film, arts or events sectors.

Working as part of the small Marketing and Communications team at Australia's oldest and largest film festival, I took a proactive approach in monitoring tickets sales, devising and actioning plans to boost sales. I segmented MIFF's large and diverse audience for targeted marketing and researched new audiences. I created content for the festival across social media, eDM and website, communicating directly with our audience. This included event social media for all of the festival's galas, world premieres, and special events, and creating or reviewing partner promotional content on our channels. I also coordinated the festival's digital advertising including liaising with MIFF’s digital agency on programmatic display ads and managing social advertising. I managed a social advertising budget of $13,000 and achieved an ROA of 23.5
