Hello! I’m Natasha and I’m an illustrator currently living in Surrey. I recently completed my BA (Hons) Illustration degree at Arts University Bournemouth. I particularly enjoy illustrating for children’s books and for pattern design on products but have always enjoyed creating in different ways and trying out different things. I love illustrating different subject matters such as animals, food items, portraiture and more. Over the last 3 years I have learnt plenty of skills such as Procreate for iPad, gouache, stop-motion, as well as Adobe software like Photoshop and inDesign. The illustrations I create I like to make them playful, expressive (in the characters) and colourful to engage all readers and to appeal to them. I have illustrated 3 children’s book during my time at Arts University Bournemouth. For my most recent Final-Major Project, I illustrated a children’s book about a ring-doughnut who is looking for a middle like his other doughnut friends, but eventually realises that it’s who he is and accepts himself. The story has a humorous puzzle element with the doughnut trying on different middles from different food items but it also holds an important message of self-acceptance for young children which I think is important for them growing up.
