  • New Zealand Fashion Week - Elite Partner
    New Zealand Fashion Week - Elite PartnerGeorge FM was the Elite Partner of New Zealand Fashion Week . Promotion of the event itself, including promotional trails, social media, online advertising and celebrity endorsement. Marketing around elite partnership. Changed the station logo to a floral background, created bus stop adshels with actual flowers behind the logo, print media advertising, social media and digital advertising. 5 day live broadcast from the event with full set up.
  • Rhythm & Vines
    Rhythm & VinesRhythm & Vines is New Zealand's largest festival - George FM was the media partner. An eight month promotional campaign included all ticket release and line-up announcements plus general information about the festival. I designed and created temporary tattoos that included the festival line-up for each night. George FM branded staff then handed these out to punters in the camp ground every day. I also designed and built a wooden photo frame that was branded and placed at the festival for festival go-ers to stand in and take photos.
  • Steal this MINI
    Steal this MINIRadio station marketing promotion in association with MINI. A 6 week campaign that ran on-air, online, via social media and closed with an event. Gave away a MINI by hiding MINI keys around Auckland City. If you found a key, that was your invitation to the event. At the event you registered on the door and placed your key into the bowl. The key that was drawn out of the bowl won the George FM MINI.

    George FM YearbookCreated, Promoted and Marketed The George FM Yearbook Album. Album reached Number 1 on iTunes the first week of launch and sold out in-store. Directed all creative, illustration, TVC and talent photoshoot.. Wrote, collated and designed interior sleeve.
  • George FM Beats in the Burbs
    George FM Beats in the BurbsGeorge FM Beats in the Burbs was a brand campaign that covered it's own marketing costs via ticket sales. I ran four events over four weeks in the suburbs of Auckland, New Zealand. North, South, East and West. This concept came about after complaints from listeners about music events always being in the central city making it difficult to travel to and from. Every event sold out with queues for door sales on the night, covering all production, marketing, promotional costs and created revenue for the station. The events were promoted via the radio station, paid social media, digital and street campaigns. To match the event posters, I created quirky A3 posters that were placed within the venue and on social media in the lead up to the events.

    George FM Chillsville AlbumCreated the George FM Chillsville Album. Managed all marketing, comms, production, design and TVC for the album. Album climbed to number 1 album on iTunes in the first week and sold out in store.

    Head of Beauty & Fashion Retail
    Working with some of the biggest names in the Cosmetics and Fashion sectors, as Head of Beauty & Fashion I develop effective marketing and promotional strategies for brands across the various Global Media platforms. I work across all Global Media brands, leading the development of the Beauty and Fashion sectors, understanding what the clients need and developing ideas that have the magic to engage listeners and the sparkle to promote the client. Responsible for driving the core business forward whilst generating new business from a number of development areas. My role is all about retention and acquisition and thinking laterally about the potential for the cosmetic and fashion retail sectors, making full use of all the platforms Global has to offer. Working with Account Managers, I oversee campaigns to ensure the radio brands deliver the promised activity and create post campaign analysis reports to present back to the client to show the effectiveness of the campaign. Acting as an expert in both the beauty and fashion categories, I keep up to date with current and future trends, new products on the market and advertising plans with other media companies.

    Managed all brand and client promotions - brainstorming creative ideas to be pitched for sponsorship, brainstorming concepts from a client brief, creating proposals, managing promotional process, briefing talent, creating and presenting post analysis documents. Managed all marketing and brand decisions - brainstorming creative concepts, managing marketing calendar, booking external media, managing photo shoots, designing vehicle wraps, booking magazine features, designing print ads and television campaigns, wrote and designed weekly electronic newsletter. Managed all brand and sponsored events - including booking venues, talent, promotional staff, photographers, security, sound systems and managing client and brand expectations at the event(s). Managed Promotions & Marketing team – managed day-to-day tasks, delegated campaigns to increase experience, lead brainstorm sessions. Created radio station Instagram page and managed all branded posts, paid client posts and interaction with followers. Assisted with creating content for online media including website, Facebook, Twitter and VOD.
