- Trello ChatThe brief was to create a chat function for Trello: 1. Users should be able to engage in conversation on Trello in form of a chat. 2. Ideally, users should be able to easily start new chats on specific topics/resources, without overwhelming users. Following points needed to be considered during the design process: - What sort of features do users expect with a chat app? - How to ensure quality conversation & engagement surrounding resources and boards? - How to find files and conversations easier? I came up with a solution to that integrated the chat function into the already existing activity feed, with a vertical order of all chat tabs, use the full vertical space. To have a better overview of the chats, the user is able to extract the chat box to the bottom of the Trello board. Also notification and noise had to considered as user interviews had revealed that these were pain points in a chat: Bad notification features and being spamed with irrelevant content which makes finding relevant conversations or files difficult.
- CeBit – Ambient DesignIdea and Artwork for the worldwide major fair for IT CeBit in Hannover/Germany. Spring themed design and illumination, including corporate identity, for T-Mobile's exhibition area. The flowers are implemented in SketchUp but organically shaped though still with a hint of rough 3D modulation. The design should show the clear etch side but should be surrounded and decorated with organic floaty elements such as the magenta colored wires and leafs.
- Book Cover DesignI was commissioned to design the cover for a book that contains articles, interviews and artwork for different perspectives and feelings of second generation Vietnamese-Germans. This book was published in 2011 by “Assoziation A” in Berlin/Germany with a circulation of 10,000 copies.
