I’ve been making digital things since 2001.
I have helped launch hardware startups, lead projects for global brands, built and launched products for innovative companies and collaborated with some of the most talented people in the industry. I love working with capable teams of designers and engineers and find crafting an elegant product incredibly rewarding.
I have in-depth knowledge of mobile platforms, especially iOS, but have a general passion for all technology and love tinkering, playing and prototyping with anything that comes to hand.
Coming from a traditional design background, and with a career history spanning award winning digital design, moving image, flash animation and video editing, I feel at one working with a strong design team. I’m comfortable leaning in and getting involved in the design process, but also sitting back and help the designers craft a beautiful product.

I was heavily involved in the design, ux and engineering of Sammy Screamer and Suzy Snooze - the first two products from BleepBleeps.
From a technical angle I managed iOS, Android and hardware engineers both in the UK and China, engineered the majority of the iOS app, designed protocols for Wifi and Bluetooth communications, designed and implemented REST APIs using NodeJS, and designed and managed a synchronised database solution using Firebase.

We undertook a complete rewrite using the latest technologies and rebuilt the social network style application in under 3 months.
