About me
I'm a Product designer with over 4 years in the industry, a degree in computer science + advanced learning in digital user interface design, user experience design and user research methods. I love clean designs and disruptive thinking and my work balances simplicity and familiarity. I’ve had the pleasure to work on a big variety of projects in various fields including financial services, crypto, hospitality and more. I love taking on challenges and solve complex problems in team-oriented environments. I’ve touched upon many design fields in the recent years that include product design, branding events, 3D design and more. My passions include AR, VR, illustration, music and art.
Projects
  • Mode App Dashboard
Mode App Dashboard- The problem - Since our app redesign a number of users had contacted Customer Support to ask about how to use the new dashboard. The majority of people had trouble finding out where they can switch between their Bitcoin and GBP accounts as well as how to top up and use the payment functionality. In the current implementation the user has to click on the little chevron icon to reveal their different account and on the actions icon in order to transact.
  • Fast User Checkout
Fast User Checkout- The problem - The Mode app offers users a quick and frictionless way to pay using QR codes or buttons for mobile stores. Users that don’t have the app can still pay at checkout with Mode using Open Banking via our web portal. After going live with our web checkout flow we could see a big drop-off during the first steps of the flow. Especially in the steps before user were transferred to their bank.
  • Motion Specs
Motion Specs- The problem - Having a development background I can easily understand that things designers find obvious for developers that might not be the case. One of the most well known examples is animations. For us designers it’s pretty easy to make a transition in After Effects or create a prototype on Figma of how an animation should work in an app. However if you send the prototype to a developer and ask them to make it oftentimes you’ll spend an extensive time going back and forth trying to explai
  • Mode Website Redesign
Mode Website Redesign- The problem - When we introduced payments and Bitcoin Cashback in the app we need a new webpage to showcase in an elegant and informative way all these new features. Additionally marketing needed a fresh new experience for people that were visiting out website. - The solution - We’ve researched extensively how other companies approach their web content and one thing that stood out was the amount of moving content companies using on their websites. The idea was to recreate how the main featu
  • Bringing Drawings to Life
Bringing Drawings to LifeWith all that's been happening lately I've been feeling really homesick of my home island. So I decided to channel those feelings to give me inspiration for my next side project. Basically started experimenting with AR - bringing digital drawings to life! P.S. For anyone who's interested the landmark is called Paraportiani and it's located in Mykonos, Greece!
  • Landing Page Design
Landing Page DesignEvery app needs a landing page. A space where it can grow, gain popularity and show what it can offer to the user as well as how it does that. Therefore, CRYSTAL got its own brand new landing page where people can find everything about the app. The design of the page follows the application’s design and keeps everything minimal and clear while following the company’s identity.
