I'm the founder of the radio show, film-related Instagram and Tik Tok content platform, and publication The Nila Extract. I am also an amateur filmmaker and aspiring actress
I host a multi-award-winning radio show called The Nila Extract where I talk with activists, actors and public figures about a plethora of topics, ranging from representation on screen, mental health, and other social issues that are not spoken about much. I have also had the immense pleasure of gaining experience and creating visual content by covering movie premieres, press releases, behind-the-scenes content, book launches, talks, film festivals and other related events. I have also emceed a rostered show at London fashion week, and as a Film Journalist for Strand and Brown Girl Magazine, I have interviewed some amazing artists from the industry from various projects.
My show and platform are now the winners of multiple accolades including the 2022 Diana Award, the SRA, Global and BBC Award for Best Presenter, Best Multiplatform Initiative, Spotify New Wave, the Frontline 50 Award and more recently, a nominee of the Asian Media Awards.

I interview other individuals on the show and ensure that the content I deliver is relatable, well-researched, entertaining, understanding, and unbiased.
