Management of brand, marketing activity including graphic design, social media management and strategy plus PR

Very hands on role looking after Press and Marketing for three brands - Ellis Bridals, Kelsey Rose and John Charles. In addition to daily communication with press my responsibilities include digital marketing strategy (creating and overseeing all social media accounts, development of engaging - creative content, social media advertising, designing and scheduling of email campaigns) , maintaining websites, organisation of campaign / look-book photoshoots including bookings of models, photographers, makeup artists and locations together with creative development.
Working with team of experienced brand consultants and designers I worked on a selection of projects. These included the launch of a new premium beauty creams to be sold online and in high end stores like Liberty, a new mobile insurance app in Spain & UK, high performance audio equipment from Sweden, a kids charity in Portugal and various start-ups in different stages of development.
In addition to daily communication with Press, my responsibilities included trend and celebrity research, creating trend reports, visual content for social media – where I edited layouts and selected imagery for clients including fashion brands like Intimissimi, Calzedonia ,Tezenis, Mango, United Colors of Benetton and jewellery designer Bibi Van der Velden.
I had responsibility for brand identity, reporting directly to company’s founder Dinny Hall as I managed and created final artwork selections across web and POS. The role grew to include visual merchandising, direct-mailing design and organising product shoots and ensuring brand visuals were strategically managed to a high standard.
Very hands-on role in an exclusive, high-end fashion boutique that allowed me to develop my understanding of the fuller marketing mix. Ensured our brand was maximised in cross-selling and partner promotions on the e-commerce platform Farfetch.com. This included updating the back-end stock-taking and booking system, to ensure orders were processed and dispatched promptly. I grew our community of followers through social media, focusing on eye-catching images as product teasers to drive sales via Instagram. To deepen in-bound leads via e-shots, I created engaging, seasonal and sales driven bi-weekly newsletters, updating the website and photographing new products to support promotions.
My interest in brand building started in the fast paced environment of advertising, sales and PR when I gained work experience on accounts including Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney and Gucci.
