I am a recent Graphic Communication and Illustration graduate from Loughborough University. During my 5 years there, I have discovered so much about design and more importantly my personal creative abilities. Coming from Egypt, I tend to attach and draw inspirations from Cairo - a beautiful crazy city.
While living in the UK I was able to work for great companies such as Superunion and Debenhams. The creative heads in these companies have enforced my technical ability and showed me how I could use my creativity to aid my designs.
Projects
- TawseelaTawseela (a slang word meaning 'ride' in Arabic) is a bike hire brand based in Cairo. We are allowing locals to enjoy the hidden gems in their city during their daily commute. We are doing this by creating a 'Park and Ride' service where Cairenes can park their cars coming off the highway, scan to ride and leave our application to guide them through backstreets of cairo leading to their destination.
- YLEMYLEM, an interactive exhibition. Inspired by my personal poems, the exhibit allows visitors to touch and interact with all the displays. The exhibition is a collection of poems that touch upon subjects such as love, hate and friendship. The exhibit’s main focus is to allow the audience to feel different emotions in various spaces.
