About me
Coming originally from Poland and fiercely ploughing her way through the urban jungle of London, Ola is a wonderful fusion of Eastern Europe’s somewhat bizarre cultural heritage, and a modern mindset of the West. Keeping her mind always open to new inspiration, Ola’s favourite activity is spending money on Amazon buying second-hand books which could possibly enrich her intellectual library. As a consequence, she is sustaining her flatmates in the belief she is a millionaire. Moreover, once she dedicates herself to a project or an event, the gained expertise becomes her concrete background, on which she builds the Parthenon of an outcome. She is a Design Manager, coming originally from a fine art environment that she endured during her teenage years and cherished in her adolescence. With a shield of meticulousness and 'both feet on the ground' approach, she fights the deadlines with a double-edged sword of practicality and aesthetics, common sense and beauty. She considers the night is just an extension of the day - not giving up until the job, simply put, gets done. Ola seems like a quite an extraordinary lady, she believes in an infinite room for improvement and constant process of personal growth, carefully editing and criticising her work with a careful consideration. Her undying enthusiasm for seeking new tasks, opportunities and problems could only result in a challenging, yet exciting practice. As a woman coming from a small town in Poland she will make a statement about gender and culture stereotypes in the industry.

DMC 17: Think, Do, FeelAs part of Design Management and Cultures 2017 degree show I was voted by my peers to have the responsibility to lead the Production Team for our final exhibition. The show was designed and curated by us, with tutors advice. As Design Managers, through the process of design thinking and an agile approach to design, we address social-cultural issues and discover creative solutions, which can be applied in the real world. Our approaches and outcomes were rich and diverse: collaboration, games, app

Distorted Perceptions of Reality - MirrorfastDistorted Perceptions of Reality - Mirrorfast was an event organised by group of young female students at London College of Communication in order to celebrate female identity. We encouraged the woman to participate in our research and talk about the perception of femininity. Objectives: To explore other issues which contribute to woman perception of themselves, we considered subjects such as body image, advertising, plastic surgery and male gaze in the media. Our team aimed to achieve the d
  • Polish Poster School Zine
Polish Poster School ZineA zine about a 'movement' of poster making in Poland in 1950’s-70’s. The Polish Posters School should be seen as a phenomena rather than a defined movement, respectively, artists should be recognised as the participants rather than representants. According to one of the authors, Franciszek Starowieyski, the posters were simply an answer for needs of a public, as the audience expects the creator to disturb, shock and offend them. Ironic and surrealistic posters mobilised to action, reminded of tradition and made the postwar Poland more cheerful.

    Project Manager - RolexHOGARTH WW
    London, United KingdomFull Time
I manage workload among multiple markets and clients and coordinate production of advertising materials, such as magazines, newspapers and out-of-homes. I ensure smooth delivery of material ordered by the client by using internal and external resources, taking into account timelines of several teams. One of my main responsibilities is communicating with the client ensuring feasibility of the media plans as well as providing advice for any enquiries regarding design process. Another part of my job is developing new campaigns and overseeing processes of retouching and designing the layout. And of course the less interesting part - billing and invoicing.
