About me
Hi, I'm Oli... ...an Art Director who likes art. I graduated from Edinburgh University after changing course three times, eventually settling on Fine Art. I then moved to London to be an Account Man at AMV BBDO on Guinness and Pepsi. I soon realised, I was a Creative. So I officially became one and now here I am - An Art Director at BBH (who likes art... and chocolate). If you like the look of my work, and or me, please get in touch.

We worked with Refuge and director Lucy Bridger to create a 60 second film that illustrates this shocking statistic and raises awareness of the life-saving and life-changing support Refuge provides. I am currently working at BBH after following my dream to become a creative (specifically, an Art Director). In my time here I've worked on most of the brands here, and created campaigns for FMCG clients like Old El Paso to Pro-Bono clients such as Sparks Children's Charity. I've had to learn fast and am now reaping the rewards of seeing my ideas touch people in the real world. I've been lucky enough to work with great people and pick up a couple of awards along the way.

After graduating, I got hired onto the AMV Grad Scheme, where I worked primarily on the Guinness account, then picked up Pepsi as a second account. I learnt a lot about the industry and how to get to the very top calibre of creative work in these two years and work experiences before that. It was particularly my exposure to the craft and creative excellence of the Guinness Team the inspired me to quit Account Management and become a Creative (Art Director) myself.

My time at Edinburgh was happy and inspiring. I was pushed intellectually, splitting my time between the College of Art and the University. Surrounded by great people, who were as nice as they were ambitious, meant I never had a dull moment. You've heard of the song 'An Englishman in New York', try 'An Englishman in Scotland' - I learned a lot.
