About me
I am an English Literature, Politics and International Relations Graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London, passionate about politics and the media industry. I'm keen on exploring full-time roles in TV, journalism, radio, writing, marketing and digital content creation/management. • I have experience hosting my own South Asian music radio show, The Desi Fix, where I promoted South Asian culture and news. I also excel in digital content management across various organisations. I have served as Editor-in-Chief of The Despatch Box journal, and actively engage with The Young Conservatives and The Conservative Women’s Organisation. • My interests include studying literature, culture, and religion. I use my free time to delve into political and religious studies, and have completed the Gita Gyan - Essence of Bhagavad Gita course to deepen my understanding of Hindu scriptures. Committed to sharing the teachings of Hinduism, I manage an Instagram account dedicated to this purpose and initiated the creation of a Dharmic Prayer Room at my university to provide a dedicated space for prayer on campus. • With a rich background spanning roles in Penguin Press, Prospect Magazine, Bishop’s Stortford Independent, and Banijay, I have acquired a wealth of experience across multiple industries.
