About me
A creative, analytical and digital savvy individual. Graduated with a high 2:1 in Media Practice from the University of Sussex, I am innovative and results-driven, always looking to develop my skills which are shown through my hobbies and interests such as graphic design, music, animation and my own phone case business where I design and sell iPhone cases on my own e-commerce store.

  • Feminism & Motherhood: An Animated Documentary
Feminism & Motherhood: An Animated DocumentaryMotherhood and Feminism is a mixed media animated documentary discussing the conflict and responsibility that women face today, career or motherhood? The documentary is told through a conversation between me and my mum where we explore these issues and delve into each other’s childhood through archive photographs and VHS recordings. The concept for this project was strongly influenced by feminist research I have done here at The University of Sussex, reading about feminist theory at an academic

•Developed proficiency in industry-standard software and equipment through a wide range of creative production modules, including; Sound, Photography, Communication Design, Interactive Design, Documentary & Animation. •Became heavily interested in the theoretical modules that focused on the role of media systems in public culture and the social world such as; Issues in European Cinema, Debates in Media Studies, Theory Taste and Trash, TV: Fictions and Entertainments, Sound, Culture & Society, Advertising and Social Change, Theorising Media Practice & Celebrity, Media and Culture. •Produced a five-minute animated documentary titled ‘Feminism and Motherhood’. My final year project allowed me to showcase my creative vision through my practical skills, contributing to a niche genre of animated documentary. It allowed me to step into new ground and focus on a topical subject, where I could represent my theoretical research through design and therefore employ my analytical and theoretical capability learnt at University. I attained a first in this project as well as all assignments completed in third year.
