Experience: I have over 26 years experience in design working principally on global brands based both in the UK and Italy. My knowledge base is principally within brand communication with a specific focus on how positive brand experiences can help company’s make strong connections with their target audience. I use my skills as a designer to maximise commercial opportunities for my clients. Creative excellence: My objective is to simplify problems and create brand insights through design. I am as comfortable with a pencil as I am a mouse. A relentless pursuit of excellence is at the heart of everything that I do with a particular focus on delivering beyond expectations both internally (within a team) and final delivery (to the client). I regard my particular strength to be someone who creates powerful feet-on-the-ground commercial tools for my clients. Strategic thinking: It’s at the heart of everything I do. I particular enjoy the exploration of ‘new thinking’ that challenges perceptions, approach, aesthetic sensibilities and overall application. I have worked extensively alongside and in support of brand strategists. Team culture: I have worked in team environments at many levels - within both design-focused and multi-disciplined groups. I regard my skill to listen as particularly strong whilst at the same time being a dynamic and provocative contributor. I have also mentored junior and mid-weight design staff when needed and take particular pleasure in aiding their professional growth. Outside the comfort zone: Whilst having many years of experience I always enjoy new challenges. Working outside of my ‘comfort zone’ I find to be particularly rewarding.
