About me
I am a freelance film director and editor with 5years experience in music promos; commercials; branded content and corporate film. I am a strong visual storyteller utilising the skills I have learnt as an editor (Premiere, FCP and Avid) and cinematographer. For example recently whilst directing a commercial with a dog and child actor the odds were against us. However I knew which shots I could drop and which I could combine visually to get what we needed and more. I take a lot of satisfaction from the variety of my work from having to for example spend a week self shooting in the Scottish mountains; filming on a remote sea turbine then directing in a studio with Reindeer and a crew of thirty.

    The Taste of Summer - Refinery 29 + CostaWe partnered with influencers Megan Ellaby, AJ Odudu, Emily Hartridge and Darren Kennedy in Brighton and asked them what makes a “quintessential British summer”. Playful graphics and music contributed to the summer vibes, resulting in a series of fun, super catchy and engaging clips that would easily lend themselves to Instagram and appeal to mobile-first customers, while tying into Refinery29’s signature style.
