- Thierry Smits' Cocktails [2014]Poster commissioned by contemporary dancer and choreographer Thierry Smits. His newest piece "Cocktails" addresses a variety of topics (like religion, politics or sexuality) in an atmosphere influenced by Berlin's 30's cabaret. I wanted the colors to remind this erotic and nocturnal universe. The use of gradient evokes the idea of cocktail (like a mix of different things).
- Empereur : “Empereur0” E.P. [2014]“Empereur” is a Brussels punk band with whom I’m currently involved as a bass player, so this was an odd one to come with. Usually it's all about working for other people. The whole challenge is to understand and translate what they want/need. So this was, in a way, trying to understand and translate yourself, which is not as easy as it sounds. The first step was about questioning the music. What is it all about? How does it sound? Paul (the singer) was all about “doing something from scratch”
- Fantastique.nights [2014]Poster's refreshment for the Brussels underground party institution "Le Fantastique". Frederic Cotton has been organizing alternative parties in Brussels for more than 10 years now. He attracts a more and more important audience and his posters/flyers come from a long road. Following that heritage and the success from the later years we wanted to bring visuals to the next level with a more straight to the point position and richer visual references.
