About me
I am a designer in my second year at Goldsmiths University of London. My practice has a foundation in illustration, graphics and film photography which I have used creatively when responding to my breifs. I have worked with a variety of digital softwares including Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign. I also utilise other techniques such as drawings, ceramics, acrylic paints and clay to enrich my work when going about different briefs. My design approach tends towards the therapeutic and holistic as I believe that design should feed not only the eyes but soul. I have a fresh millennial perspective that prioritises mindful innovation and growth. Many of my individual projects have reflected this such as designing a logo for a community Yoga class. The logo was made inclusively, taking into consideration different genders, body types and ethnicities. On a more personal level, I enjoy reading tarot, film photography and writing poetry and this translates into my design practice for example when I designed a project of encrypted poetry. My exploratory personality shows through my varying interest in my life, I am open to exploring with more mediums such as pottery or fabrics as I believe that the willingness to try something new and out of my comfort zone is an important skill to have within the industry. In a work environment I would like to have the opportunity to focus on art direction, interior design, physical space design and photography. I would be interested in curating a physical space as I have always been interestied in the correlation between one’s behaviors and emotions when entering a room. I am fascinated by the world of interiors and have always valued exploring different materials and textiles and incorporating this skill into my daily life. I wish to increase my knowledge in furtnature and interior decorating while translateing my spiritual nature in order to curate a harmonious and meditative space. I also love film photography and art direction. Curating photoshoots and sets for magazines with other artists and photographers. I wish to collaborate with interdisciplinary creative studios and work with like-minded people to transform imaginative concepts into ground-breaking realities. On my website you can find my CV

  • Live Project: Relaxation
Live Project: RelaxationThis project was focused on students relaxation. We wanted to focus on student accommodation and design a solution that would make this space more relaxing, so we decided to focus on the window as a tool for this. We designed a catalogue of windows with a range of possible solutions to fix stressful situations a student could find themselves in as well as enhance existing moments or relaxation. Through our catalogue of windows we have allowed this object to become malleable and adaptable - this
  • Love Letters Infused with Poetry
Love Letters Infused with PoetryThis brief centred around designing a method of encrypted poetry and infusing love letters with the words from my mind and heart. By scanning cut-up images from magazines, leftover receipts and musical notes, I layered it will my poetry and infused it together in order to create a sort of collage or as iI call it, redaction - a shape of poetry that only shows a specific part of the text without revealing too much at once. One can grasp the emotions and world that's cross my mind but never the fu
  • Broken yet Healed
Broken yet HealedThe sphere made of broken ceramics was influenced by ancient Islamic objects that were decorated with perfect geometrical patterns representing the infinity of the universe and inviting to reflect on life and god. The space in between the shapes was known as the “space for god” which symbolizes the worship of Allah. The cracks are filled with gold paint which embodies the Japanese philosophy called “Wabi-Sabi” a concept of accepting your imperfections and embracing life. The sphere has a metaphy
