About me
Hello, I'm Rebecca, but usually Becks – Usually a Copywriter, occasionally an Art Director. Sometimes both/neither. I’ve worked in advertising for 10+ years, across lots of different clients, but mostly for FMCG, lifestyle, and beauty brands. I love creating big ideas that tell stories, and I love the writing of said stories. As a greedy consumer of culture and strategic thinker, I can turn my hand to big brand campaigns, thumb-stopping social content, brand platforms and longer-form editorial projects. I love smart, simple, preferably funny ideas that don’t look or smell like advertising. And I love working with people to make them happen.

  • Lynx X CALM Bigger Issues
    Lynx X CALM Bigger IssuesIn the UK, a man under 45 takes his life every two hours. But nobody talks about it - it is the ultimate taboo. In partnership with CALM, we used Lynx’s influence amongst young British men to start a conversation around suicide.
  • CMI – Making Sexism Sexy
    CMI – Making Sexism SexyThe Chartered Management Institute (CMI) asked us to create content that highlights gender inequality in the workplace - with the aim to get people to call out sexist behaviour, no matter how small. We created a tongue-in-cheek film with comedians Stevie Martin and Thom Tuck.
  • Sony Mobile – The Journey
    Sony Mobile – The JourneyWith so much incredible camera technology in Sony’s latest Xperia smartphones, anyone, anywhere can be an amazing filmmaker, and we wanted to prove it. We gave aspiring filmmakers from around the world an Xperia smartphone and a simple brief: to capture the idea of a ‘journey’ in the world around them. From all of this footage we created a crowd-sourced documentary film.
  • J&B Whiskey – Get Together
    J&B Whiskey – Get TogetherJ&B asked us to serve up a new global website that would appeal to a younger audience, persuading them to put J&B back on their cocktail lists. Aligning with their new global positioning 'venture together', we updated their brand story, and produced a series of short films - all done in one take - using multiple pairs of hands to present J&B cocktails, showing that good things (and great drinks) happen when people come together.
  • Lynx – You Gold
    Lynx – You Gold2017 for Lynx was GOLD - a new product range with the campaign message ‘No matter what life throws at you, you’re Gold’ - we created content for Lynx’ digital channels with Dele Alli, Not3s and Michael Dapaah - AKA Big Shaq.
