My name is Ricardo Venâncio, I'm a Lisbon born and based illustrator since 1999, with experience in storyboard for animation, editorial illustration, concept design and sequential art, with work published in my native country of Portugal, and also in France, the US and Italy.
I'm currently working on my personal sequential project called Hanuram the Golden, which is a merge of comic book storytelling and world building exercise.
I'm also a teacher at the professional school ETIC, responsible for the Concept Art class in the Concept Art yearly course.

Projects
- Hanuram the Golden: The FuryCover (with the graphic design by Nuno Lourenço Rodrigues, and the wrap around full illustration) for the first book from my creator owned comicbook project, Hanuram o Dourado: A Fúria, published in a joint venture by ComicHeart and G Floy Studio Portugal. The first book was distinguished with the award for "Best Drawing" in 2017's Galardões da BD, at ComicCon Portugal. Hanuram is a project written, drawn, colored and lettered by me, Ricardo Venâncio.
