I'm a multi-faceted music fanatic, and while I'm still (reasonably) young, I'm trying to take every opportunity that comes my way. I'm interested in being part of a shifting in the cultural tide; projects that are profound, positive and impactful. Since graduating Leeds University in 2016, writing and comms have shown themselves to be my primary strengths, and I have been fortunate enough to become part of the founding team at PUSH Magazine - a new print title dedicated to exploring and developing youth culture. Brand building and curation at PUSH takes up most of my time, and it's a role I'm juggling with being City Development Manager (Leeds) for event discovery platform DICE.fm, and a chronic party starter and DJ with my event and media channel Youth Club Sounds.Locked Pro Plan feature
Part of the founding team of PUSH Magazine. I split my time; working closely with our Editor In Chief on curating, writing and editing both print and digital content, and moving in perpetuity between Leeds and London to strike up brand-partnerships and commercial projects.
A contributor to CLASH for both print and online. I have written full-length feature interviews with Tory Lanez, Flatbush Zombies, Jay Prince, RAYE, and many more
As Leeds City Manager for DICE, my job is to build city-wide awareness of the app, and work on bringing new promoters onto the platform.
Youth Club Sounds started as a radio podcast and internet record label. It soon became a labour of love, and an opportunity for me to bring a new sonic dimension to the tremendous Leeds music scene. Our primary focus is now our monthly residency at Headrow House, Leeds, where we bring the sounds of hip hop, rnb and future soul to the city. In the past we have collaborated with DICE, Budweiser, Annie Mac Presents and Red Bull Music Academy.
