"The second issue of PUSH is about next steps; turning energy and promise into action, and making moves to bring bright futures into the present.
Our cover star, Mura Masa, has transcended SoundCloud notoriety to release his major label debut album. Vince Staples follows up his critically acclaimed debut with an ambitious, career defining, second record, & creative collective InBloom demonstrate how friendship can help us to develop both in our personal lives and our professional endeavours.
Issue two also includes features on GoldLink, Donae’o, Jammz, House Of Pharaohs, Smino, S4U, JD. Reid, Tiar Johnston, Alia Hassan, Manga & Lewi B." - Taken from the PUSH website.
Our trust in the strength of UK culture, and this new generation of creative enterprise left us no doubt that releasing a new print magzine in an increasingly digital world was a worthwhile endeavour. For the most part, the risk paid off.
We secured a partnership with Nike Sportswear for sponsored postage envelopes, and were able to ship more free copies than on the previous issue. We're in more stores, on more timelines and in more lives - and we're not going to slow down.
We're developing as a creative unit every issue, so it seemed right to curate content for PUSH 2 that covered young creatives at similar pivotal points in their own journies.
