About me
Creative for CRM with 5 years’ experience at Vizeum, iProspect and Dentsu Data Labs at Dentsu Aegis Network, London. Primarily I have designed and coded email creative for numerous global brands including Eurostar, InBev (Budweiser, Stella Artois, Corona) and Pernod Ricard (Malibu, Absolut Vodka, Jameson Whiskey). In this role I split my time 50/50 between coding and design, and have skills and knowledge of coding languages including Html, CSS and JavaScript for Front-End Development, as well as, extensive design skills with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop. After Effects, Illustrator). This combination of skills has made me a strong UI Designer because of my understanding of how to use code and design in collaboration to deliver great work. Additionally, I have worked on banner ads for The Economist, Budweiser and Stella Artois, as well as, pitch presentations, mock-up designs and decks for senior stakeholders and clients. The role has also given me experience with different DMPS including Salesforce and IBM Watson for the creation and implementation of client campaigns. I have the ability to make work to brief quickly, efficiently and to deadline whilst managing numerous workflows for various clients. As part of this I would consider myself to be a strong self-starter who enjoys working independently and as part of a larger team, a good communicator and a great lead for new and ongoing projects. My initial background is in Fine Art and I still have a keen interest and practise in the Arts. This alongside my design career has given me an extensive knowledge of visual culture across all creative spheres and has equipped with the ability to produce work inspired by a broad range of stylist influences.

Eurostar - Travel State of MindUsing the Travel State of Mind TV ad as a starting point, I wrote all the copy for Eurostar's out-of-home campaign. Initially, the brief was to write short headlines to appear on cross-tracks and TCPs, but I was over the moon when my long-copy idea was approved. As well as cross-track posters, the say yes and see what happens ad appeared on a huge billboard at Waterloo station and got positive feedback on social media. This degree developed an arts practice through the expressive world of creative computation. Developing artistic work and thinking through the challenge of developing a series of projects for public exhibition which will explore the technological and cultural ramifications of computation. On this course students learned the fundamentals of programming and how to apply this knowledge expressively. Working with popular open source programming environments such as Processing, OpenFrameworks, P5.js and Arduino, and will learn how to program in languages such as Java, Javascript and C++. Since computational artworks don’t necessarily involve computers and screens, this course also encourages students to produce works across a diverse range of media. Supported by studio technicians in state-of-the-art facilities, students will produce works using tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, robotics, wearable technologies, paint, sculpture and textiles. Students also study contextual modules on computational art and the socio-political effects of technology. These modules provide students with the historical foundations, frameworks, critical skills and confidence to express their ideas effectively. This will give the opportunity to learn the cultural histories of technology, to reflect on computation in terms of its wider cultural effects, and to understand the way in which art provides rigorous ways of thinking.

The course is designed to help enhance the making, criticality and articulation of their practice. It aims to expand the work’s audiences and contextual reach. Experimental studio practice and individual inquiry are activated in professional contexts. These challenge what art is or could be, how art is communicated, and how artists can develop their practices in forward-thinking and culturally progressive ways.
