Hi I'm Rosie! I am a Graphic Designer Based in Portsmouth and I have recently graduated from the University of Portsmouth. Throughout my time at University, I have learnt an array of skills in both digital and print, focusing on pushing myself to achieve new things. - The Past, Present and FutureThis piece of work explores how we perceive numbers, using our skillset to challenge the boundaries of numbers, finding a way to spark interest and imagination into our audiences minds. The chosen subject for this project was the element of time, how we perceive it now, how did it come about and how important it really is in everyday life. - Against FunctionalismThis project explores the planning, production and overall development of book design. It gave me the opportunity to develop and refine my approach and understanding of visual narrative, focusing on the designed content, while also having to consider the form and format of the book. - Stephanie's Cakery RebrandThis project involved the complete rebrand of the company, Stephanie's Cakery. The business wanted a fresh look that displayed an approachable, friendly, local and homely cake baker. During this project, I learnt how important communication skills between myself and a client is. The idea for the hen imagery came from the fact that she was a mother of two small children, so I played on that with the 'mother hen and her two chicks'.
