Hi, I’m Rowena a 23 year-old Graphic Design Graduate from the Arts University Bournemouth based in Surrey surviving on a diet of green tea, greek yoghurt and granola. The past three years have prepared me for industry. I am used to taking on five projects at once, confident in the design process, how to approach client’s needs, designing pitch boards, working from timelines varying from one week to five months and will always adapt to whatever is thrown my way whilst staying calm and now I am excited to immerse in the world and expand my creativity. I am passionate about design that makes a difference of which one of my projects titled ‘Stroke’ was highly commended by Creative Conscience in 2019. University has taught me the importance in my role as a designer and how I can use my design abilities to have a voice. This past year has brought new interests in taking on more controversial subjects like my recent briefs in menopause and female pleasure. Besides graphic design, I enjoy fitness and yoga. I find staying active helps keep my mind focused during the design process. I also love to socialise, travel and cuddle my mini-labradoodle Lizzie. What I’ll bring to you is a strong determination and passion to learn. My strengths lie in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop and I am versatile in graphic design areas but am always keen to learn more such as recently undertaking more motion and video work. I thrive in my time management, teamwork, organisational and presenting skills and am good at receiving critical feedback as well as participating in meetings. Recently I just completed a 3 month internship in social media and design for mental health company BioBeats. For you or your company, I will bring my upbeat, positive, sarcastic and hard-working personality. I am easy to get on with and a great tea maker (which I’m sure is an added bonus). Hope to hear back from you, all my best.

- MenoGuide- Understanding MenopauseSociety has made people believe that ‘Menopause’ makes and turns their mothers, sisters, partners and colleagues into crazy living nightmares. This is due to the lack of education towards it but menopause is no joking matter. The problem is not only is it ‘failing’ women but it fails children, teenagers and young adults in particular men who do not understand the basics of a transition that affects every woman in the world. MenoGuide is an educational awareness pack teaching children, teenagers

- London, United KingdomInternship
I completed a 3 month remote internship role for Company BioBeats from June-September 2020. My role as an intern was both in social media and design. For social media, I wrote, curated, scheduled and sourced social content each week and introduced new ideas to increase brand awareness and audience engagement. In design, I created product assets along with webinar, email and social graphics for the BioBeats channels as well as sites like People Management.
