Head of Events, Marketing and Event Director
Responsible for creation of events department in order to open the business to additional revenue streams and to create and implement external marketing and new business campaign for busy communications agency.
Duties included:
• Creation of events calendar including networking, press shows, client meetings, global trade shows etc
• Creation and implementation of very successful company networking event with attendees exceeding 60 people per event
• Organising and overseeing every element of internal and external/client events incl: travel, accommodation, budget, design, theme, venue research, build, sponsorship, stakeholder management, sales, marketing, collateral creation, guest list, attendees, entertainment, post event PR, evaluation and reporting
• Delivering events on time and on budget. From £1k to £25k
• Implementation and delivery of external marketing campaign via digital, live events, social media and networking opportunities, plus growing leads database by 200%
• Generating and converting new business leads; introducing 5 new key clients to the business
