- Safiyaa PreFall 2020The Safiyaa silhouette is tailored and sculptural. For this season I sourced and developed industrial inspired trimmings, creating a range of rivets, studs and domed buttons to implement throughout the collection. I also developed a Herringbone embellishment, using baguette stones to create dense but minimal trims in 2 sizes. Most importantly, all details I developed can be applied quickly to the garments- a must for the made-to-order service the brand offers to their private clients.
- Safiyaa Fall 2019Strong colour blocking is a Safiyaa trademark. For this season I developed a fabric manipulation technique in satin to create striking, tonal and textured ruffle placements, mimicking the layered petals of wild flowers. The surface created was tactile and sumptuous, had a high-impact, and importantly- required little labour time to apply. (The brand has private clients and offers a bespoke, made-to-order service.)
- Safiyaa Fall 2018New Classics- the trademark Safiyaa sculptural silhouettes, in block pastel tones, with bespoke 'farfalla' inspired, laser etched embroidery elements. My aim is to create high-impact, luxurious and rich embroideries, with little labour time, so these dresses can be made to order for the brand's private client base.
