Safiyaa Fall 2019

Strong colour blocking is a Safiyaa trademark. For this season I developed a fabric manipulation technique in satin to create striking, tonal and textured ruffle placements, mimicking the layered petals of wild flowers. The surface created was tactile and sumptuous, had a high-impact, and importantly- required little labour time to apply. (The brand has private clients and offers a bespoke, made-to-order service.)
