We Make St Albans campaignFor my social media management training, I ran a local arts awareness campaign on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, under the character name of Lady Suburbaneer. The character gave me a tone of voice for the campaign and a structure for the blog element which took the form of a series of letters. The strategy was to highlight all the little creative artisan businesses which exist in kitchens and sheds around the area and which make a unique contribution to the character of the city. I created the hashtag and invited businesses to share content using it. Each week I focussed on a different type of creative business, eg. jewellery design, textiles, photography, ceramics, art and craft classes etc. and I grew an engaged organic community of followers. I also made use of Facebook and Twitter ads to enhance my reach, and a Tweetchat to further engage the audience. These are the hashtag headers I designed for each week, and at the end of the campaign I also formatted them into a short video.

I ran a department of five full-time and a varying number of freelance staff. My initial task in this role was to liaise with group legal staff to resolve copyright and contractual disputes that had built up over a number of years, also to put in place procedures and develop organisational policy to adapt workflows to the transfer from analog to digital imagery.

I ran a live multi platform campaign on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, to raise awareness of local arts businesses and heritage organisations. I based the campaign around a character called Lady Suburbaneer, a curious visitor who roams the streets looking for interesting and creative content to share. This gave me a tone of voice, design style and a structure for my blog which took the form of letters to her equally mysterious sister, describing events and products that she had discovered. I used weekly analytics to track my platforms' performance against KPIs and to inform future content strategy. I also ran some Facebook and Twitter ads, and ran a tweet chat.
