‘BySiba’ is my own brand that I created for myself & launched in January 2021. Along with completely rebranding myself, I also set up an online store to sell & showcase my work. Lockdown & the current situation affecting the world really made me realise you don’t know what is really going to happen in 5 minutes, 2 days or several months - so don’t dwell on your dreams & goals. Make them happen. Do what you can now. Not tomorrow. So I stopped pushing off my dream of running my own business & selling my work. Put my words into action & can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.

I will openly admit that I chose to resit my time in Year 12, due to personal health reasons. However, I believe it is one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. In doing so I not only gave myself the chance to achieve academically, but also personally. It allowed me to rethink my options & regain balance in my subject choices (ie. not following what others thought should be my route). In the end I chose subjects I was really interested & passionate in. It’s just a shame a global pandemic occurred & meant that my cohort of Year 13 students didn’t get to finish our courses fully. But onwards we go!
