About me
My name is Saskia and I am a graphic design student living in Lichfield. I recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2020, a year significant for all the wrong reasons! Thank you COViD-19. My specialities are editorial, experimental and typographic design. I love typography in particular as I enjoy creating bold artistic statements through words and letterforms. Feel free to email me at saskwright451@gmail.com

  • DYSCALCULIA: 'The Forgotten Learning Disability'
DYSCALCULIA: 'The Forgotten Learning Disability'Dyscalculia is a learning difficulty which affects a person’s ability to acquire mathematical and number-based concepts. Often misunderstood as ‘dyslexia with numbers’, it has an impact on daily life far beyond that of not being able to read numbers on a page. The book is designed specifically with dyscalculia in mind, using legibility and illegibility of typography to demonstrate the visual language associated with the condition.
  • WHiMSiCAL BENCHES: A Platform Full of Joy
WHiMSiCAL BENCHES: A Platform Full of JoyThis project challenges the hostile and boring design of the train station through a series of whimsical benches that provide additional seating for frequent users. Each one is designed with a vibrant pattern and unique form to make you smile while waiting for the train to arrive!
  • Just Say Hello
Just Say HelloIn 2019 it was reported that as many as 320,000 people were living on the streets in the UK alone and almost all of them suffered from mental health conditions. The idea behind the Just Say Hello campaign is to encourage people to smile or interact with homeless individuals rather than ignore them as they walk past. In contrast to other campaigns, these posters will be located in places deemed typically ‘homeless’, a doorway or shop front for example.
