I'm an award-winning self-shooting PD and video editor with a wide experience in the digital and broadcast world. I’ve worked as a creative director and filmmaker producing commercials, third sector, promos, music videos, visuals and short-films. I work as well on my own as when I'm part of a bigger team, quickly fitting into crews hitting the ground running. Thinking outside the box is second nature.Locked Pro Plan feature
Bigote Films is the brand under with I release my work as a freelance. From video production to photography, branding, illustration, graphic design, UI/UX, web management and social media. Bringing projects to life from scratch to delivery I have developed a very independent style while working for a wide range of businesses and professionals.
In-house videographer and video editor for the Novamedia Group. My main responsibilities were to shoot and edit winners’ events’ and street prizes for the Postcode Lottery generating content for the social media channels and digital platforms. But also to produce charity films to help spread the word about fantastic good causes throughout the UK.
As Digital Video Lead I worked for the Audience Development and News Digital Team, coordinating and producing video content for their social media channels, developing a template for everyone to use in the newsroom, and advising how to best use their wide range of resources to maximise their reach and engagement.
I worked alongside Bright Signals to produce social media content for BBC5 Live and their coverage of the Euro 2016 football championship in Twitter and Facebook as well as their website www.bbc.co.uk/5live. Within my duties were to edit a daily wrap-up video of the day's games so it could be available next morning. The key component to these videos was the audio for obvious reasons, and to this was added a series of sequences of still images giving the movement and the pace. These photographs were edited to a comic look style and dialogue boxes were added to highlight what the commentators were saying. Also I made a series of illustrations of some of the most important players during the tournament and GIF animations for their social media channels to remark key moments in game.
While I was studying at University I co-founded this visual collective in which I directed a serial of videos to promote three new degrees within the University of Salamanca. One of them awarded as Best Advert of the II USAL Advertising Festival. I also directed an online commercial for the Independent Music Festival Ebrovision and a TV advert for the Association of Parents, Families and Friends of Oncological Children.
This degree provides students with an education that will enable them to make creative and professional decisions in the field of audiovisual communication, as well as the management of technical and human resources in both public and private sectors. The core modules (60 credits) are planned for the first two years, the mandatory (126 ECTS) over the four years, and elective modules (24 ECTS) in the last two years.
