FaB runs an annual 2 week festival of contemporary visual arts in Bath, and a collection of smaller projects throughout the year. With an ethos of inclusivity and the aim to engage a diverse audience, FaB’s mission statement is to “actively promote and celebrate contemporary art in the Bath area and beyond, showcasing early career Artists and Curators, and those who find it difficult to break into (or prefer to operate outside of) the gallery based art scene.” Being a small, volunteer-led organisation, my work is varied: recruiting & building relationships with Curators, Artists, community groups, collaborating organisations and volunteers. Project management, web management, documenting activity, producing online content, blogs, social media, press releases, articles & newsletters, copy editing, generating ideas, delivering training and presentations, setting up and taking down exhibitions, daily management of exhibition spaces, evaluation and report writing. I run the organisation’s website www.fringeartsbath.co.uk and successful twitter, instagram and facebook accounts: @fringeartsbath.

Virtual Festival Curator / Producer - Festival of NatureUniversity of Bath
     - Bristol, United KingdomFreelance
For this first online interactive edition of the Natural History Consortium's annual Festival of Nature, I developed relationships with existing partners, exhibitors, sponsors and web developers to produce a new type of festival and engage new audiences. Working in collaboration with the University of Bath, and their PHD students, I produced interviews presenting research and laboratory tours, alongside scheduled live chat sessions during the festival itself. Live sessions covered topics ranging from our back gardens to water education, capturing nature on film, genetics, Godzilla and lego. I also identified and secured existing materials through existing partners: video, images, how-to guides, podcasts, call-to action ideas eg. animal tracking & audience surveys, learned to use related software and delivered the project within budget.
