Shang Xin (b. 1994) was born in United States
and spent his childhood and teenage years in
Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. In 2016,
he finished the study of BA International
Journalism at Beijing Normal University-Hong
Kong Baptist University United International
College (UIC), a joint university cooperated by
Mainland China and Hong Kong. After a gap
year between 2016 and 2017, he started to pursue
the career as a documentary photographer
