About me
Sinem Koc is an embroidery and print designer who studied Textiles at the Arts University Bournemouth specialising in design for upholstery fabrics and wallpaper. My design process starts with a collection of visual inspirations, which is then built into a strong collection of drawings and paintings. My paintings and drawings are then adapted into digital designs to create bespoke digital embroideries and prints suitable for interior application.

- The Magic Dyes of KilimsMy final collection titled ‘The Magic Dyes of Kilims’ explores the natural plant dyeing process of the Turkish Kilim weaving. This project is inspired by botanical flowers, plants and insects which have been using for kilim dyeing such as safflower, sumac, saffron, spurge and ST John’s wort.
