About me
Hello! I'm Sirine and I'm a passionate, multi-disciplinary Lebanese Graphic Designer based in London. I moved to London from Lebanon seeking to explore the possibilities of visual communication through strategic creativity, innovation and active exploration of current trends. I use design as a powerful asset to spark conversation, disrupt the norm and initiate social change, and I always try to highlight these intentions through my work. I often approach briefs with playfulness and experimentation, which result in bold and vibrant visuals that allow me to communicate my concepts and ideas effectively. I mainly specialise in editorial design, identity branding, typography, illustration and prototype design. Here's the link to my portfolio website: https://sirinedarwishgraphics.cargo.site/

PALMYRASet by NY-based type foundry Vocal Type, the purpose of this brief was to express a cultural issue that is personally relevant through typographic specimen design. “PALMYRA” is a typeface designed with the fusion of modern Latin typeface “Galaxie Copernicus” with characteristics of classic Arabic calligraphy. The type specimen utilises humor and satire to address Arab stereotypes in the West through the depiction of Orientalist distortions and the commercialisation of ethnic property. (projec
  • ALL OF US
ALL OF USThe purpose of this brief was to identify an issue I care about and communicate it effectively using typography. The poster and its supporting material read “ALL OF US” in English and “ALL OF US MEANS ALL OF US” in Arabic, encouraging fellow Lebanese expats to actively participate in Lebanon’s October 2019 revolution.
  • GROUND ZERO
GROUND ZEROGround Zero is an experimental, journal-like editorial that explores the “culture shock” phenomenon. Through playfulness and humour, I visualised my personal experience of moving to London as a student for the first time. The editorial takes the reader through three major phases of culture shock, with a goal of shedding light and positivity on a rather difficult transitional process.
