About me
As Senior Account Director at Boxer I am responsible for the day to day successful management of our portfolio client accounts. Working with strategists to ensure the heart of our clients' brands are communicated through all that we do; I'm passionate about creativity and ensuring all output from the Boxer business delivers results. During my time at Boxer, I have been tasked with creating solutions to our promise of delivering 'Design that Works' and I am delighted to be part of a business that welcomes my natural curiosity for anything that involves consumer needs. Having a background in marketing and having once been a client myself, I work hard to ensure my team understands the business problems our clients need to solve. Over the years I've been lucky to work with many great clients, forging long term partnerships with brands such as McDonald's and RJ Reynolds, as well as working with greats such as Britvic, Ribena, Tesco and Vodafone. Essentially, I love hearing about my clients problems and collaborating with them to achieve solutions that deliver results.
Projects
  • Weber Grills - tiered branding and package design
Weber Grills - tiered branding and package designThe challenge from Weber, America’s best-loved barbeque experts, was to support their expansion into more global markets. Their accessories range provided an opportunity to build the brand and sales beyond the initial purchase of the barbeque grill itself but the packaging lacked brand coherence and in-store presence. Furthermore, the ‘space hungry’ packs were not optimised for either retail efficiency or material usage. Applying our process of Holistic Packaging by DesignTM, my team and I sought to optimise look & feel form & function & emotion. Firstly, we created brand stories and a brand architecture that allowed for clear tier segmentation and easy-to-shop communication. This tiered architecture was then translated into three sub-brand looks and three approaches to form & function – each optimised for material usage, strength, shipping efficiency and in-store display. Most importantly, customers could now get their hands on the beautiful products in store, without damagingthe packs. The brand bloodline, inspirelines and the vibrant lifestyle imagery (all created by my team and supplied as digital assets) provided the client with all they needed for an efficient rollout – telling the aspirational story of the Weber lifestyle around the world. Through our Holistic Packaging by Design process, we were able to reduce material use, increase functionality, improve shipping efficiency and – most importantly – ensure that a full case of products fits neatly on a eurohook, improving retail efficiency. The new packaging, easier to shop and proudly Weber, can be seen in a Garden Centre or DIY store near you! The range has rolled out across key markets in Europe, Russia, India and the home market of the US. Brand awareness is up, the love for grilling is quickly spreading around the world.
  • Camel Portfolio alignment
Camel Portfolio alignmentAs the first brand to launch 'Crush' technology (the ability to change the flavour of your cigarette), Camel cigarettes required a holistic messaging overview for their portfolio of products. Working with a team of creative minds, we set about defining the hierarchy of messaging, creating simple benefit driven instructions to describe what would happen if you 'clicked' as well as bringing the portfolio together under one umbrella sub-brand.
  • Ribena re-design
Ribena re-designBringing the brand message of 'refreshing fruit goodness for all the family' to life on packaging. Focusing on telling the brand story through depictions of long summer days playing outdoors with the family. Taking adults back to a time when they stayed out until 'mum called them home' and connecting with kids who told us that this is what they want. Services: Strategic Insight, Illustrative Management, Creative Management, Brand Design, Packaging Design and technical management.
