I have been working as a Spatial Experience Designer focused on storytelling through immersive physical experiences for retail industry, exhibitions, and museums. I have completed my masters in Narrative Environments in Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design, UAL London. I worked as a Spatial Experience Designer with Foley Design, Spatial Designer with Idiom Design Pvt. Ltd. and Rajeev Sethi Scenographers on Jaya He GVK New Museum, Mumbai. I specialise in the visitor/user experience journey of sequential narration, sketching, storyboards, modelmaking, 3d visualisation using SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop and construction drawings in AutoCAD. I had the opportunity to engage myself in a variety of projects including brand experience for retail stores, design fixtures, large scale retail formats, redesigning corporate offices and furniture to maximize collaboration and work efficiency, service design, installations, and navigation design. My role required me to manage projects from concept to on-site supervision of execution. This included research, brainstorming, conceptualization, 2d + 3d visualization, design development, client presentations, vendor management, detailing, CAD drawings, material selection, BOQs, prototypes, and onsite supervision.

I was involved in designing a conceptual proposal for the year 2100 through a collaboration between Design and Medicine. We a team of five designers from all over the world worked with a group of scientists from the reputed KAIST University in Daejeon. The outcome, a product with four other products were exhibited in Daejeon, South Korea and Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design in London.
I was focused on creating highly immersive environments for Bombay international Airport, Hyatt Andaz in New Delhi, Hyatt Regency in Gujarat and GIIS School in Abu Dhabi. I was in direct contact with the clients, vendors, fabricators, carpenter, designers, artists and the head of our company. My role led me to be involved in a project from the conceptualization till the final execution on site.
I had the opportunity to be a part of the design team to create and execute the first street food festival held in Granary Square, Kings Cross, London.
I did research on Traditional Art and Craft of India, coordinated workshops, got involved in Design Innovation of products, Illustrated to books that got published later, I was a part of book Design and finally, designed exhibitions to display the products made in the workshops.
I did my bachelor's thesis on Understanding Scenography through the works of Rajeev Sethi. I also designed an exhibition named Motion, Myth, and Magic under him.
I was recommended to work on TATA CONSULTANCY PTE LTD for Gandhinagar, India I was involved in the conceptualization of the interior design, circulation and furniture design of the space. I also worked on the color palette of the space to be.
I worked on Interior Design and Architectural projects which involved working on confidential projects in the following format: 1. conceptualization and working on presentation drawings 2. Site visits for building construction 3. Model making and prototyping for a housing unit.
As a Design Intern I had the opportunity to work on four different type of projects namely Residential, Commercial, Hospitality and Corporate spaces. I also had the opportunity to go for site visits and coordinate work to contractors and the rest of the experts.
I was exposed to designing visitor experiences for museums, brand, urban and community environments. I worked in multidisciplinary teams to tell stories by combining text, image, sound and physical space to create original engaging and immersive experiences.
I was engaged in a 5 years intensive course wherein I trained in space planning, technical drawing, furniture design, graphic design, sketching, 2d + 3d Softwares, photography, structure and Material study. I also got involved in block printing, carpentry, metal fabrication, weaving, and pottery. During my study period, I also had a chance to go for an exchange to Hochschule fuer Technik, Stuttgart Germany for a semester.
